Whenever I write, I imagine a specific soundtrack playing over my pages. I’ll occasionally even write song notes right into my comics scripts, as inspiration for the artists. Many artists work with music playing in the background—so why not suggest specific music for them to paint to? And since The Fifth Beatle: The Brian Epstein Story is itself a music story, I wanted our readers to almost hear the music in artists Andrew C. Robinson and Kyle Baker’s artwork. Read more...
