As announced today at New York Comic Con, Dark Horse is set to publish a new creator-owned series from Bram Stoker Award winner Jonathan Maberry (Ghost Road Blues)—Bad Blood! With art by the Eisner Award–winning Tyler Crook (B.P.R.D., The Sixth Gun), this five-issue miniseries promises a vampire tale with an unlikely hero.

It was announced officially today on Dark Horse’s horror panel at New York Comic Con that Greg Rucka would be bringing his latest heroine to Dark Horse in the new series Veil! The story opens when a beautiful girl wakes up in an abandoned subway station with no memory of how she got there. When men try to hurt her . . . they wind up dead. Where did she come from? And what is she capable of?

It's been known for a while that writer Brian Wood is wrapping up his "Conan the Barbarian" run at Dark Horse Comics with issue #25, scheduled for February 2014. What hasn't been known, until now, is who's following Wood on the book with March's issue #26: As revealed Friday at New York Comic Con, it's Fred Van Lente! Read the interview here!

EVE: True Stories is CCP’s first graphic novel and features artwork by Alejandro Aragon (Overlook, 28 Days Later), Tomm Coker (Daredevil Noir, Near Death), Federico Dallocchio (Batman: Arkham Unhinged, Suicide Squad), Dave Ross (Star Wars: The Crimson Empire Saga) and Mark McKenna (Star Wars: The Old Republic). Ten years since Joss Whedon’s western-in-space cult classic Firefly went off the air, the rabidity of its fandom, better known as the Browncoats, hasn’t waned at all. Rather, since the advent of streaming video services like Netflix, the show has found even more fans, as its fourteen episodes and subsequent follow-up film, Serenity, became more easily accessible than ever for those of us who maybe missed the boat back in 2002-2003.
