Dark Horse Comics

Issue #3 tells the tale of General China's defeat at the hands of the tyrannical dictator Tomo Wolfe, so a focus on the late revolutionary leader was a logical route to go with this cover. As China's mask is a symbol of the Shadow Rebels struggle and an emblem of their revolution, not to mention an important piece of the entire Orchid puzzle, it became the focus of the cover. After an initial sketch, cover artist extraordinaire Massimo Carnevale worked his magic and—boom—we had a gorgeous, iconic cover.
