Michael believed in his projects and put every bit of energy that he possessed into giving them the best chance for success. He had a love of the pulp magazines of the thirties and forties, as reflected in his company’s name . . . Sequential Pulp. He was particularly fond of the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs. Dark Horse distributed a number of the graphic novels he had packaged, a relationship that lasted for over a decade.
