Manga Monday: Oreimo: Kuroneko Vol. 6

07/11/2016 4:17pm
No. Way. The final volume. Out Wednesday.
I've been an Oreimo fan since the first time I watched the anime series—including all the alternate endings—and my love for the adventures of Kyousuke, Kirino, Ayase, Ruri-chan and the rest of the rag-tag group of fans and collateral damage has only deepened and grown as Dark Horse Manga translated and put into print Sakura Ikeda's manga series. I am definitely on this bus, wherever it goes (hopefully to the Summer Comiket convention!), and have explored as much as I can get my hands on of storylines original, potential, and just plain out there.
That said—when I reached the end of this book, and indeed, the end of this miniseries, my mind was totally blown! I was not expecting this outcome at all! I can't even react to it, in print, in any greater detail for fear of accidentally spoiling something—and you, dear reader, deserve to see just how this crazy, lovable story ends up. I hope that you find it satisfying…but no matter what, I'd love to see readers write in to us to tell us how they feel about it! One thing is for sure—wherever Kuroneko goes, you must expect the unexpected!
