A SENTENCE ABOUT WHAT COMICS-RELATED WORK YOU DO AND/OR ARE KNOWN FOR:

I'm the Senior Director of Print, Production and Design for Dark Horse Comics.

I come up with ideas for material used to create books and limited editions. Examples include the printable cloth used for Sky: Art of Final Fantasy, construction of the box set for Star Wars Deluxe, construction of the box set for Tara McPherson, book material for limited edition Zelda, material used for trades, case bound books, and comics.

What are your favorite working tools?

My eyes. I need to see color and detail and for finding the right materials for each book.

What talent would you most like to have?

Painting with watercolors.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Being in the graphic art industry for over forty-nine years—from running a press, to estimator, to print sales, to sales manager, to Senior Director of Print, Productions and Design at DHC.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

In the woods with nature.

What is it that you most dislike?

Hypocrites.

Who are your heroes (fiction or non)?

My sister, mother, and my dogs.
